NATIONAL MUSEUM OF AUSTRALIA MARKET DAY

This gathering is an intimate supper club full of good conversation. You’ll share a meal with strangers turned friends in the beautiful seaside setting of Patonga, on Darkinjung land.
The next Good Gathering will host Georgina Reid (Wonderground) and Christina McLean (TRADE the MARK) for a night centred on place, neighbourhood and landscape. How we interact with it, how does it centres us, how does it inspires us and how do we grow the place, neighbourhood and community we want to be part of.
We are beyond thrilled Tristan Fraser (Rigatoni for Toni) and Hayley Thorncraft (Burnt Honey Bakery) will be curating a five course meal featuring producers from across the Coast taking inspiration from the coastal landscape with wine pairings by Mike Bennie (P&V Liquor Merchants).

What a privilege it has been to create a series of urns for Creative Death Care. This process has been such an opening and humbling experience. Full of many layers of consideration and curiosity.
I wanted to create vessels that celebrate a persons journey, their story and history.

This exhibition will showcase the work of the ceramic and floral artists who are part of The Creative Death Care family. The show shines a light on a subject that is uncomfortable for most yet it’s one we will all experience. It’s about showing how we can create creative pathways, to celebrate life and support the bereaved.
From coffin painting, handmade artists urns, coffin draperies and memory making workshops for children and families.
I will be at the gallery for the duration of the show and will be available for any questions you may have.
